In the field of  doping process ADAS has doping services is in and out of competition urine testing. Anti doping Agency of Serbia has expertise in entire process from keeping track of the athlete`s whereabouts  to managing test results. Doping control officers are trained to carry out urine tests strictly according to the WADA regulations.

Testing is always conducting and adapting according to the sport federation concerned. ADAS sends urine testing to an independent WAD/IOC accredited laboratory, collaborates with courier firm such as UPS, DHL which are qualified for transporting urine samples. The results of testing are sent directly to sport federations if they are not conducted by ADAS.

According to athletes confidentiality names  are not presented on form sent to laboratory to further protect the athlete. They can choose pre sealed collection vessels before the test.

DCO is always present and assistant of DCO  who is this case extra observer during test needed to affirm the correct procedure.

The athlete is always observed by the person same gender as the athlete during taking urine samples. The athlete also has the right to have his or hers witness. The crucial fact is that only an athlete can handle the urine sample until it has been properly sealed in bottles.

DCO has to fill form consisting of information about testing and concerns about performing all criteria during that procedure.

The amount of urine sample must be sufficient, minimum 75ml, Ph value must be according to defined limits.

ADAS provides all the necessary measurement equipment defined by WADA regulations.
